I Was Right is a tool for writing dated predictions, receiving an email reminder, and marking whether you were right. It is not a betting, gambling, or financial-advice service.

Your content

You are responsible for the text you publish. Do not post illegal content, harassment, or other people's private information. Public predictions may appear on the Wall and (once enough are resolved) on the leaderboard. Private predictions are unlisted: not on the Wall, but anyone with the link can open them.

Accounts

You can use the core loop without an account. If you sign up, guest predictions from this browser are merged into your account. Login is provided by Auth0.

Outcomes

You mark your own results. Outcomes can be changed; each change is stored in a visible history. We do not independently verify real-world events.

Availability

The service is provided as-is. Reminder emails are best-effort (scheduled checks every few hours). See the Privacy Policy.
